An impressive dome with lively colours overlooks the village. It is the roof with majolica tiles of the Church of Santa Maria a Mare, a building dating back to the 12th century but renovated several times over the centuries.
The inner part has three aisles divided by columns and a splendid 15th century lacunal ceiling. A wooden sculpture dating back to the 14th century representing Our Lady with the Child is situated on the high altar.
